My name is Johan and I’m born in Stockholm and I still live here, simply because I love it! I’ve always been interested in history and what place is more natural to start with than where you live?
Some years ago, I started a project where the aim was to walk along every street (full length of the street) of central Stockholm, I’ve covered 80% so still some more walking to do. Doing so I’ve discovered lot of places I’ve never seen before and taken lot of photos (all photos on this site is taken by me), while they are just taken with a mobile phone it’s still a sort of documentation.
I’ve always been positive to people coming from across the globe to visit Stockholm, it makes me proud as a Stockholmer and this is my small contribution to try and make your visit even more pleasant.
As I’m doing this as a hobby project there can well be errors on the site but I felt it’s important to keep the site independent, to not have advertising or sponsors. Restaurants or other places I recommend are based on my own opinions and experiences, it’s always a good option to get a second opinion from sites where people can leave their rating/comments.
For this very reason I don’t have any hotel recommendations, simply because I don’t think you can get a fair opinion of a hotel without living there.
