Scandinavian food is very popular now and can be recommended to try out, Stockholm offers lot of choice when it comes to eating out, no matter of your budget or taste. I’ve listed some of my own favourites here but there are plenty of more to be found, TripAdvisor or related sites are a useful source of information.
Be aware that many restaurants will be closed during public holidays and during the “industry” vacation period, from end of June to mid-August.
As always there are different opinions when it comes to giving a tip, service fee is always included in the bill but most will add a 10% tip on top of the bill if they liked the food and service. My recommendation is to give a tip if you are pleased with the experience and not to give one if the service and/or food wasn’t to your liking.
As always, I recommend visiting the restaurants website to book a table (when possible) and to check the opening times.
